Golden Gecko
HOW THE ADVANTAGE WORKS:
- Golden Gecko features a colored jewel above each reel, with four more colored jewels in a queue above the reel. There are common gold jewels, as well as special blue, green, purple and red jewels that correspond to the progressive jackpots. The jewels will drop down (with the next jewel in the queue replacing it) whenever a wild symbol lands on the reel below. The gold jewels add a 2x to 5x multiplier to the wilds, while the blue, green, purple and red jewels will award the progressive jackpot if a full reel of wilds lands.
- Three active red jewels (the ones in the row directly above the reels).
- Five red jewels total directly above the reel and in the first row above.
- Seven red jewels total directly above the reel and in the first two rows above.
Additional notes
- The red progressive is by far the largest and is the only one worth chasing.
- This is a high variance play—you won’t win the red progressive the majority of times you play, but when you do, it will more than cover your losses.
- There is no advantage to the gold jewels as they are extremely plentiful.
- Wild symbols appear frequently, so the jewels drop quickly.
- The screen will rumble before a full stack of wilds lands.
- The progressives are not huge, so they actually get awarded fairly frequently.
- The progressive jewels appear more frequently in the higher bet levels.
