KRAKEN UNLEASHED

Picture
HOW THE ADVANTAGE WORKS - (Lobster Bay / Wild Vikings / Dive for Five)
  • Kraken Unleashed features wood panels with credit prizes on them that land on the reels and shift down one position every spin. Landing six wood panels will trigger a hold & spin feature. The wood panels can land in any position on the reels, but they often first land in the top row and then shift down in a connected stack up to four tall.
WHEN TO PLAY
  • Two or more wood panels in the top row.
  • One wood panel in the top row and at least two wood panels in the middle row.

  • Aggressive plays (for higher RTP settings)
    • Any wood panel in the top row, unless it was a stack of four wood panels and you saw the bottom one move off screen (indicating that another wood panel will not move down from above the top row).
Additional notes
  • Kraken Unleashed is currently one of my favorite games. Most APs don’t know about it, so it’s common to find plays. And you can win big with a limited investment. Your losses will be pretty minimal, as you only need to do a few spins to see if you hit the bonus.
  • The wood panels can only appear in reels one through four.
  • You have a good chance of triggering the bonus when you find the game in the right condition. I once hit the bonus four times in one night just by finding random plays.
  • Good line hits are very infrequent in this game, which leads to the conclusion that most of the payout occurs during the bonus feature.
  • Wood panels with smaller credit amounts tend to come in taller stacks, so they are actually more lucrative when it comes to triggering the bonus.
  • The game usually comes in four denominations, so be sure to check all the bet levels on each one.
Picture
Kraken Unleashed comes in three themes—Lobster Bay, Wild Vikings and Dive for Five. The persistent state feature is exactly the same in all three versions.
A solid bonus with the mini jackpot.
Most of the times you hit the bonus will look like this, where the six wood panels all came down from the top in a big stack in two columns.
Large credit value amounts like this (20x the bet) usually are just single tiles and don’t come in stacks of three or four like the smaller credit values.
Sometimes a bunch of wood panels will just randomly land on the reels like this, but it’s not very common.
Finding walk-up plays like this will give you an excellent chance of landing the bonus.
The bonus can pay out very nicely, especially when you fill the board and land the multiplier.
