REEL CLIMB

HOW THE ADVANTAGE WORKS: Celestial Mountain / Prosperity

• Reel Climb features four sets of firecrackers above each of the middle three reels. When an arrow symbol lands, one of the sets of firecrackers explodes and the reel expands upward. After all four sets of firecrackers are blown up above a reel (the reel will be seven symbols tall at this point), the entire reel becomes active for three spins. If a dragon symbol lands on an active reel, the entire reel will turn wild.
  

WHEN TO PLAY

• If there is an arrow symbol on a reel, it will explode one set of firecrackers immediately on the next spin. So a reel with two sets of firecrackers and an arrow symbol counts as one set of firecrackers.
  
• The first two reels with firecrackers (reels two and three) need to have three or fewer total sets of firecrackers remaining. So either both reels have one set of firecrackers or else one reel has one set and the other has two sets.
  
• Any reels with a glowing outline and a number above the reel (it will either show “1” or “2”).
  
• Any reels that have one set of firecrackers remaining and an arrow symbol on the reel. This reel will become active next spin.
  
• Any arrow symbols that say ”MAX” on them. This will cause the reel to become active next spin, no matter the number of firecrackers remaining above the reel.

Additional notes​

• This is a very volatile, feast-or-famine type of game. The good thing is that the arrow symbols appear frequently, so plays usually require a limited investment.
• After a reel becomes active (all the firecrackers are blown up), it doesn’t automatically become wild. It will only turn wild if a dragon symbol lands in it.
• As the reels get taller, you have a greater chance to get more arrow symbols or the six crystal ball scatter symbols needed for the bonus.
• Occasionally, a special arrow symbol that says “MAX” on it will appear. This will explode all of the firecrackers above the reel on the next spin.

This is a solid play with the first reel with firecrackers (reel two) down to two sets remaining and the second reel with firecrackers (reel three) down to just one set of firecrackers remaining.

The arrow symbols that expand the reels (by exploding the firecrackers) aren’t applied until the next spin. So the first reel with firecrackers (reel two) will be active for the next three spins.

The first reel with firecrackers (reel two) will be active for one more spin (notice the counter above the reel).

You can get huge wins on this game even on small bets. This is a $264.60 line hit (the win amount was still counting up when I snapped the pic) on a $0.60 bet.
