Regal Link: Lion / Raven
HOW THE ADVANTAGE WORKS:
- In Regal Link, players accrue wilds in five free games meters: amber (starts at 30 and hits by 50), sapphire (starts at 40 and hits by 60), amethyst (starts at 50 and hits by 75), emerald (starts at 75 and hits by 100) and diamond (starts at 175 and hits by 200). In addition to the free games wilds, there are also silver wilds that are awarded randomly during the base game.
- The following are the playable numbers for chasing individual meters. If multiple meters are close to playable, you can jump in one number early (e.g., 46 amber + 57 sapphire would be a play).
- Base game (silver): 9
- Amber (orange): 47
- Sapphire (blue): 58
- Amethyst (purple): 73
- Emerald (green): 98
- Diamond (yellow): 199
Additional notes
- Regal Link is nothing like the original Regal Riches. The wilds in the meters accrue much more slowly, making this game a borderline AP trap. The positive equity is there, but you just need to wait for the numbers to be very close to hitting before playing.
- Rather than standard wilds, the wilds in Regal Link are cash wilds, which function as standard wilds but can also contain credit prizes that are awarded regardless of forming any line hits. If a cash wild hits the same spot, rather than awarding a multiplier (like the original Regal Riches), it will add a credit prize.
- During the free games feature, diamonds can be collected to award the progressive jackpots. Five red diamonds are needed for the grand, four green diamonds are needed for the major and three blue diamonds are needed for the minor.
- The bonuses are higher variance compared to the original Regal Riches because the cash wilds can sometimes award large credit prizes.
- The meters can often trigger early and a lot of APs/casual players not familiar with the game will take anything approaching the MHB number, so it is not common to find plays. That said, the silver (base game) wilds are relatively common to find and can be very lucrative, especially when you find them at 12+.
- This is a great game for card building because the meters increment very slowly, especially diamond and emerald. You can take numbers earlier depending on your potential free play offers.
- Never attempt to jump in early on the diamond (yellow). I’ve heard stories of APs chasing it at 197 and losing 3,000 units after sitting on the machine for 12 hours.
- The bet pad doesn’t show the meters like the original Regal Riches, so this game is more of a hassle to check.
