HOW THE ADVANTAGE WORKS

• Coin Combo: Hurricane Horse / Perfect Peacock features persistent wilds that randomly appear on reels three, four and five. The wilds move up one row every spin until they move off screen. In Hurricane Horse, the wilds are purple Chinese characters. In Perfect Peacock, the wilds are blue peacocks that say “WILD” on them.
  

WHEN TO PLAY

• Do not count any wilds on the top row because those will be gone next spin.
• Two wilds in the middle reel.
• One wild in the middle reel, with another wild in the fourth reel.
  
• Two wilds each in reels four and five.

Additional notes

• There are other similar games in the Coin Combo series—Carnival Cow, Marvelous Mouse and Terrific Tiger—but Hurricane Horse and Perfect Peacock are the only two that offer any kind of advantage.
  
• The wilds appear frequently (they shoot out every few spins), so it is common to find plays on this machine.
  
• Other APs will play any wilds in reels three and four, but I think the game needs to be played tighter than that because the line hits just aren’t that great (much of the game’s payout goes toward the jackpots and bonus features).
  
• Ignore the bowls that fill up with gold coins—having more coins does not mean you are any closer to hitting the bonus feature. The game instructions state, “the accumulation of coin over time in bowls is for presentation purposes only.”
  

**Some of the denominations have extra plays you can check—a lot of others don’t bother to cycle through all of these.

This is a solid play with one wild each in reels three, four and five. The empty blue coin bowl on the left is just as likely to hit as the full green bowl on the right.

The glowing purple Chinese characters function as wilds. I would skip this play with two wilds in reel four, especially on a large bet

The bonus feature can pay very well, especially if you trigger multiple bowls of coins at once.

Don’t shy away from the higher denoms if you have the bankroll—you have the potential for big wins such as this, while your investment is usually just one or two spins.

This is another solid win on a high denom bet.
