HOW THE ADVANTAGE WORKS
WHEN TO PLAY
Reels one and two are easier to trigger, while reel five is more difficult to trigger. Therefore, you can play the first two reels slightly looser, while reel five should be played slightly tighter.
- Diamonds & Devils Deluxe and its companion Jade Monkey Deluxe feature prizes above each reel that are awarded when three diamonds are collected. The prizes build up as credit values and free games symbols land on the reels. The twist is that landing a devil/jade monkey symbol will remove one of the collected diamonds. And if there are no diamonds remaining, landing another devil/jade monkey symbol will reset the reel, removing all accrued credits and free games.
WHEN TO PLAY

Additional notes
- The devil/jade monkey symbol that removes the diamonds adds a ton of variance to this game. It can be frustrating getting close to a valuable prize but then having it all taken away. This game requires a ton of discipline—you need to cash out immediately once the play is no longer +EV.
- Landing a free games symbol will add eight free games above the reel. Up to 80 free games can accumulate.
- The free games bonus can pay very well. The devil/jade monkey doesn’t appear on the reels, so it’s much easier to win prizes.
- In general, the free games are worth much more than the credit prizes. But occasionally, a credit prize can accumulate to a significant amount.
- Reels one and two reset to 1x the bet amount, reels three and four reset to 2x and reel five resets to 5x.
- The numbers above the reel are a silver color when they are at their reset values and turn yellow once additional credits have been built up.
- The fifth reel contains the largest credit amount at reset, so that is often the most desirable reel.
- Up to three diamonds can land in a reel at once, so it’s possible to fill a completely empty reel.
- This game often tricks new players who don’t realize the devil/jade monkey removes diamonds.
