The number of free games will keep increasing, but not at a rate that will make up for your losses. It might feel like the machine is closer to hitting the more money that you put in, but that isn’t the case. So if you are a newer AP with a limited bankroll, then I recommend avoiding playing uncapped progressives. If you do decide to play, it can be helpful to set a budget for whatever amount you feel comfortable losing, and if you hit it, that’s awesome. If not, just call it a loss and move on. It might seem like a bad idea to abandon a play (if it was a good play when you started, then it is an even better play now, so why would you abandon it?), but bankroll management is crucially important.
