LUCKY LARRY'S LOBSTERMANIA
HOW THE ADVANTAGE WORKS
WHEN TO PLAY
- Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania 4 Link / Super Sally’s Shrimpmania 4 Link features Loot Awards above reels two, three and four. The Loot Awards are activated when two coins are collected in that reel.
WHEN TO PLAY
- One coin in each of the three Loot Awards. Stop playing after you trigger one of them.
- Any active Loot Awards—it will either say “2 Spins Left” or “1 Spin Left” above the reel.
- If the Bonus Loot Award is present above any reel, regardless of the number of coins collected.
- If the Jackpot Loot Award is present above any reel. It is +EV over the long run with no coins collected, but you will likely face short term losses. I recommend playing with one coin if you want to lower the variance.
- It can also be worth playing completed Loot Awards (the ones that say “0 Spins Left”) for a single spin to see if the Loot Award it gets replaced with is either the Jackpot or Bonus. I would try this in the following scenarios (and only if the completed Loot Awards are not the Jackpot or Bonus):
- One completed Loot Award with one coin in each of the other two.
- Two completed Loot Awards.
- Three completed Loot Awards (this is rare).
- One completed Loot Award with one coin in each of the other two.
Additional notes
- This is one of my favorite new advantage games to come along in a while. Ploppies have a hard time understanding how it works, so it’s common to find profitable plays.
- Getting multiple Loot Awards activated at the same time can lead to huge wins.
- The Loot Awards trigger more frequently on the higher bet levels.
- The coins you collect to fill the Loot Awards aren’t blockers—they just appear as sub-symbols on the bottom of the regular symbols.
- The coins appear frequently, so there usually isn’t a huge investment required to play the game through.
- During the Bonus Loot Award, you can choose between the bucket bonus or free games bonus. Both options pay the same on average. The bucket bonus is less volatile and usually gives a solid payout. The free games bonus is hit or miss—I’ve had huge 100x wins before but also have gotten totally shafted.
- The Bonus Loot Award usually gives a solid payout. The Jackpot Loot Award can often be a bust, but it has the potential for some really huge wins.
- After a Loot Award is completed, it will be replaced by another Loot Award that isn’t the same as the previous one and is also different from the Loot Awards on the other two reels. If two Loot Awards are replaced, it doesn’t guarantee a Bonus or Jackpot will appear—it usually just swaps the Loot Award from the other completed reel and then replaces the other one with whatever one isn’t showing on the unfinished reel.
- Right before you land the second coin for the Bonus Loot Award or Jackpot Loot Award, there will be a special animation where Larry or Sally dances across the screen.
