Mammoth Legend
HOW THE ADVANTAGE WORKS:
- In Mammoth Legend, if a player lands a bonus symbol fully in reel five, they get to pick a prize out of five coins. One coin contains the Volcano Bonus, while the other four contain credit prizes. If a credit prize is chosen, that coin is removed from the five coin selection. The next time the bonus symbol lands, there will only be four coins to select from. When there is only one coin remaining, then the player is guaranteed to get the Volcano Bonus on their next pick.
- Warning: Play this game at your own risk. I don’t have enough data to confirm that it is ever truly +EV. I’ve only logged a handful of sessions and I took some horrendous losses. That said, other APs that I respect insist that this is a solid game. I don’t want my experience of what could have been just extremely bad variance to stop anyone from playing, but just be warned that this is a risky game.
One coin remaining above the fifth reel. It will say, “Next Bonus = Guaranteed Jackpot!”.
Additional notes
- I logged a session on a $1 bet with one coin remaining, where I lost $258 (after 19 minutes of fast spinning) before I hit the Volcano Bonus. I ended up only winning $15 on the bonus, so I took a $243 loss on the play. I understand that this was just one session and that bad variance exists. I did log a few other sessions where I came out ahead a small amount. That said, I’m thinking this game may be an AP trap. Either that or just crazy high variance.
- Other APs play this game and I have a friend who I respect that insists this game is +EV when one coin is remaining.
- This game also has a Mammoth Bonus (a hold & spin feature) in addition to the Volcano Bonus.
