HOW THE ADVANTAGE WORKS (Prosperity Rising / Brilliant 7’s)
- In Upshot, players trigger a bonus feature by landing a bonus scatter symbol on both reels two and four. When one bonus scatter symbol lands, it will lock on the reel for three more spins, giving the player additional chances to land the second symbol.
- Play any remaining locked spins—directly above reel two or four, it will say either “Spin 1 of 3” or “Spin 2 of 3” (the message disappears immediately after the third try). You can also look directly on the bet pad—it will show an icon on any bet level that has locked spins remaining.
Additional notes
- This is a newer game that most APs are unaware of it. It has a low investment and you have a solid chance of hitting the bonus.
- The nice thing about this game is that you can check for plays just by casually glancing at the bet pad without having to touch any buttons (there are versions that come in multiple denominations, so you will have to touch the bet pad to check those).
- The locked bonus scatter symbols can either be for the free spins feature or the Upshot (pinball launching) feature. The symbols also serve as wilds, so there is additional value in them even if you don’t trigger the bonus.
- The pinball launching feature in the bonus appears to be skill-based, but the game rules state that the player interaction is for entertainment purposes only.
- Upshot has an RTP that ranges from 85.12% to 94.09%
