WOLF PEAK / CAT PEAK / FU REN
HOW THE ADVANTAGE WORKS
WHEN TO PLAY
- Wolf Peak and its clones, Cat Peak and Fu Ren Wu, feature expanding wilds that stay around for four spins. The expanding wilds have a yellow background with orange text that says “WILD.” There will be a chevron arrow that points either up or down, indicating which direction the wild will expand. After the wilds fully expand to cover the reel, they will disappear on the next spin.
WHEN TO PLAY
- Do not play the purple wilds—those don’t stick around.
- Any active wilds in the first three reels. If the wilds are active, they will either be one, two or three spaces tall, and they will have a yellow chevron arrow either above or below.
- Active wilds in the fourth reel if they contain any 2x or 3x multipliers.
Additional notes
- The direction of the yellow chevron arrow doesn’t indicate how tall the wilds will get—all yellow wilds will expand in either direction until they cover the entire reel (four spaces tall).
- You must put money in to check this machine, which makes checking for plays slightly more difficult.
- It’s common to find plays on this game because ploppies have a hard time grasping the expanding wilds mechanic.
- This game can pay out massively when multiple wilds are active, especially when there are 2x and 3x multipliers involved. I once saw a guy playing this on a $6.40 bet level win a handpay and then five minutes after the slot attendant paid him, he won a second handpay.
** A new wild can fall on a full row of wilds. So check full rows of wilds to see an arrow in the middle somewhere. **
